A little-known tip to keep those annoying flies out of your home while being able to enjoy having your windows open, actually comes from nature, with the smell from one simple plant enough to ensure the nuisance visitors don’t pester you.
Basil repels flies as they hate the strong smell so by putting a pot of basil on your windowsill, flies are less likely to come into your home, additionally Mint is also said to be a good repellent, due to it’s potent natural fragrance.
