If you are out and about in Málaga City in June, here are a few dates for your diary. There are a number of markets popping up to put you in the mood for Summer.
Arts and crafts on the Port
The Sunday El Zoco market takes place on Sundays in June on Muelle Uno from 11am to 7pm on 4 and 11 June, and from noon to 8pm on 18 and 25 June.
Red Friday
This vintage market with live music and performances returns to La Térmica Cultural Centre on Friday 7 June from 6pm to midnight. This month’s edition includes live music and there’ll performances.

Organic Markets
The best summer fruit (think apricots, watermelon, peaches…) and vegetables are now in season and these markets sell them plus products, all grown and produced locally in the Guadalhorce River valley. Saturday 8 June on Calle Cervantes and Paseo de Reding (near La Malagueta) and Saturday 22 June in Huelin Park. 10am to 2pm.
Mercado Soho
Calle Tomás Heredia is the location for this arts and crafts market on Sunday 23 June from 11am to 7pm.
Merced Market
Plaza de la Merced hosts an arts and crafts market from 11am to 7pm. Visit the stalls and enjoy the last blooms on the jacaranda trees! Date to be confirmed
