There are two National Holidays in Spain next week, Día de la Constitución on Wednesday and Dia de la Inmaculada Concepcion on Friday

Constitution Day
Constitution Day is a bank holiday across Spain every December 6th, to mark the anniversary of the referendum which approved a new constitution for the country. It commemorates the anniversary of the 1978 Referendum which resulted in a democracy after the fall of the Franco dictatorship in which the Spanish people overwhelmingly approved the current Spanish Constitution. Businesses close their doors and public transportation runs on a modified schedule

Immaculate Conception Day
The Day of the Immaculate Conception, also known as the Feast of the Immaculate Conception, is a public holiday celebrated in Spain on December 8th. This holiday commemorates the belief that the Virgin Mary was conceived without original sin, and is celebrated by Catholics throughout the world.

All businesses in Spain are closed on public holidays, except for some small family-run stores, gas stations, museums, bars, restaurants and public transport. You can probably find some open supermarkets in the larger cities, but their opening hours will be shorter than usual on Wednesday 6th December and Friday 8th December
